Contact

If you have questions, spot an issue, or want to suggest an improvement, reach out:

When reporting an issue, include the page URL and (if relevant) your school’s published GPA policy so we can verify.

Contact notes for quick help

If you are reaching out about a mismatch, include three things: your grade scale (4.0 vs plus/minus), the weight bumps your school uses, and whether there is a cap. With those details we can usually explain the difference in one message.

For privacy, do not send your full name, student ID, or anything you would not want forwarded. A list of course types and grades is typically enough to troubleshoot without personal identifiers.

Requests that help the most are specific: the page URL, what you expected, what you got, and the rule you believe applies. That allows us to improve the wording for everyone.

What to Include When You Message Us

To help us respond quickly, include the page you were on and a short description of what you expected to happen. If your question is about matching your school’s policy, tell us whether your school uses plus/minus grades, whether it caps weighted points, and whether it weights only core classes.

If you’re reporting a content issue, the most helpful message includes a quote of the line you’re referencing and a link to an official policy page that shows the correct rule. That lets us update the guidance and document the change in the changelog.

Common Questions

Is my GPA data saved or stored anywhere?

No. The GPA calculator runs entirely in your browser. No course data, grades, or GPA results are ever sent to any server. When you close the tab, the data is gone unless you use the printable summary to save it locally.

How accurate is the calculator compared to my school's official GPA?

The calculator uses standard weighting formulas (0.0–4.0 base scale, +0.5 Honors, +1.0 AP/IB). Because schools vary in their exact weighting rules, credit counts, and grade scales, your official GPA may differ. Use it for planning and estimation — always verify with your school counselor for official records.

Can I report a bug or request a feature?

Yes — email everydayroyalties@gmail.com with 'Bug Report' or 'Feature Request' in the subject. For bugs, include your browser, device, and what you expected vs. what happened. Most features currently in the calculator came from user suggestions.

Why does the calculator show a different GPA than my transcript?

The most common reasons: (1) your school uses a different base scale (4.33 with plus/minus vs. 4.0 without), (2) your school applies different weight bonuses, (3) some courses on your transcript aren't counted toward GPA (PE, health), or (4) your school uses semester vs. year-long credit counting. Adjust the weight settings in the calculator to match your school's exact rules.

The calculator is free and always will be. There's no account required, no data stored, and no upsell. If something isn't working or could be better, we want to know.

What to Include in Your Message

For bug reports: Tell us your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox), device (phone or computer), and what you expected to happen vs. what actually happened. Screenshots help if the issue is visual.

For feature requests: Describe the GPA calculation scenario you're trying to model that the current tool doesn't handle. Examples: "I need to enter semester credits instead of year credits" or "I want to save my course list between sessions."

For content questions: If something in a blog post or guide seems wrong or outdated, cite the specific claim and we'll check it against current sources.

We respond to all substantive emails within 1–3 business days. We read every message even when volume is high.
